Amber is Pleasantly Surprised by her Home A1c Test

I was pleasantly surprised by the result and contacted the founder of the machine… He shared the home test airs on the side of being a little low – BUT what the hell – I will take it.

Please note – the supplement I agreed to take was created for people living with Type 2 diabetes. He did ask me about my A1c and would I want it to be lower. I thought, hmm, why not? He also disclosed that as someone with Type 1 diabetes, I will always be insulin dependent and this supplement will aid me in better diabetes management.

I am now a week in and will continue taking the supplement for 30 days and share the results via another home A1c test with the same machine. #walkingscienceproject

Amber Clour was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. 21 days after her eighth birthday, she was rushed to Children’s Hospital where she spent two weeks learning how to live life with Type 1 diabetes. She has embraced the thought of being a #walkingscienceproject and hopes to score an A+ for her efforts to maintain a stable BG while living life to the fullest - whatever that means.
